The biggest players are Salesforce, GoldMine, SugarCRM, and Act, but it seems there are CRM startups everywhere you look these days.  We chose to develop for GoldMine because we believe its feature-rich and customizable structure gives small business the power to choose the best workflow for their needs.



Does GoldMine have solutions for my industry?

What about mobile or cloud use for my out of office salespeople?
There are mobile and browser-based viewing options as well as contact syncing to ios, android and blackberry phones.



What are the system requirements to set up a GoldMine database?
GoldMine runs in a Microsoft Windows Server environment, and workstation computers can run XP or above.  Mac OS or Linux is not natively supported, although it is possible for other OS users to work with GoldMine via a remote desktop client.  Full specs can be found here.



Where is my data stored? Is it safe?
All of your data and sensitive client information is stored in your server and controlled by you--not a third party or cloud.  Standard precautions for backup and internet security are recommended.



How long does it take to get my system customized and running?
It depends on the complexity of your customization project and legacy sources, but the average client is working with the database within two weeks.  We do recommend a training package to make sure your employees are fully versed in the system.



We do most of our sales online.  Can GoldMine capture leads from our website?
Absolutely.  Forms from you web site can import data automatically into GoldMine so your sales team can work with the most up-to-date information. Hot links to Facebook, Twitter and web address from your client’s records can be opened within the built-in web browser in GoldMine Premium.



Can GoldMine send branded mass emails?
GoldMine uses built-in Outlook email for correspondance. Templates and canned responses can be created per user or shared with the team.  The Campaign Manager dashboard enhances Outlook’s function, and can be used to send mass emails.  



Why do I need SystemPlugIn?
If you want to be able to generate custom screen views and reports based on actual sales data from your accounting, DDMS or other software systems including legacy data from another CRM, SystemPlugIn is a must.



Which accounting products can be integrated via SystemPlugIn?
It works with the industry leaders in business accounting--Quickbooks, Peachtree and more.



Where can I buy SystemPlugIn? How many licenses do I need?
We sell and fully support SystemPlugIn.  We offer licenses to match your number of GoldMine seats.



How long does it take to get my support questions answered?
Support cases are handled on a first-come-first-served basis.  For customers with a current support plan, we guarantee a response within 2hrs.



What are the options for training new employees to use GoldMine?
We provide a number of training options including webinars and remote screensharing, but for getting new employees up to speed with your existing workflow, we highly recommend our Train the Trainer program.  Designate an internal point person and we’ll make sure they have the advanced training they need to be able to share the best practices they’ve learned with the rest of your staff.



My company already has an IT staff. Do we still need a support plan?

Sometimes even the IT specialist needs a bit of help. Our tStandard support plan is great for occasional problems.



Which GoldMine products and addons do you offer support for?
We can provide training and support for any of the GoldMine products and all the 3rd party addons that we sell including MasterMine, Compliance, and QuoteValet.



Can I get upgrades for GoldMine and other addons through tStreet?
We are able to handle all your upgrades for GoldMine CRM and other addons.  For proactive upgrades, we offer the tPremium support plan which ensures that your database is up to date and running smoothly.
